Anna Kosa abstract expressionist artist created this collection of original fine art to invite the viewer into the vulnerable space of my journey healing from abuse, encouraging them to take a positive look at their own traumas. She encourages the viewer to celebrate all the scars that we are told by society to hide and are stigmatised by.
Anna has a special admiration for the sea with all of its beautiful creatures & underwater scenery. She is a free diver herself and wanted to learn scuba diving just when the pandemic started so was not able to during lockdown.
Her longing to experience the beautiful depths of the sea inspired this painting. The areas that are still undiscovered & represent the unlimited possibilities that lies within each and all of us. Deep waters can be intimidating for some as we don't know what lies deep beneath the surface where the rays of sunshine cannot reach.
Her initial intention with this piece was to create an artwork in which the viewer can loose themselves and feel the deep calm Anna is feeling when underwater, observing fishes and corals.
She want to inspire the viewer to feel curious in the face of uncertainty, about the depth of their own selves to discover the greatest parts of their existence and live their most authentic lives in every moment.
