I created this composition while longing for a holiday during lockdown, recalling pictures I have seen of Bali. It is a lifelong dream of mine to go travelling with two suitcases, one of which will be filled with canvas and paint allowing me to paint my abstract impression of wherever I travel. This painting is a creative and hopeful escape from the current reality of the pandemic, depicting my visual impression of Balis’s beautiful scenery.
