This composition is a reflection of the complexity of connecting with someone intimately. At the time I dated someone, who made me realise that there was only intellectual connection between us. This inspired me to reflect on what I really need as a woman to be inspired to engage in dating someone. I concluded that the ingredients for a wholesome relationship are spiritual, emotional and physical connection alongside enjoying someone else’s company. It is my visual reminder to not settle for any less than what I am able to offer and ultimately deserve.
