Spring Blossoms (2020)
One day just after the first Covid19 lockdown started in London and we were not allowed to leave the house, I looked out to the garden and seen a tree covered in blossoms inspiring this composition. I created this piece while contemplating the unstoppable continuity of growth in nature and how much we humans have to learn from this delicate harmony. Throughout the pandemic, I reflected on the thought that we can attempt to shut everything down for humans and limit the activities that humans are allowed to carry out but nature does not stop, nor asks for our permission to bloom.
